SEPT 12 Corey Lee,
Publisher for the Atlanta Shepherd's Guide.
 

Corey's work history is varied and started in his childhood as a waiter, grocery attendant, commercial laundromat worker, and Vector Marketing sales representative selling Cutco knives. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Hampton University, pursued an MBA from Clark Atlanta University and is currently in graduate school pursuing a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Corey also serves as the lead pastor at Convergence Church in southwest Atlanta and is co-director of the Convergence Movement which has a mission to launch influencers from college campuses to inner cities to the ends of the earth. In addition to the Shepherd's Guide, Corey and his wife, Jade, have launched several ministries, and traveled the world coaching, training and ministering to leaders from all backgrounds.

SEPT 26 Joseph Yi,
Managing Partner, Piedmont Capital Advisors,
  a comprehensive wealth management firm which focuses on values-based retirement planning for corporate executives and business owners. Joseph received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and his MBA from Georgia State University with a focus on finance. Joe is active in his community as a member of the Alpharetta Rotary, North Point Community Church, North Georgia Walk to Emmaus, and Rivermont Golf Club.

OCT 10 Paul C. Broun,
M.D., and Former U.S. Representative.
 

For most of his career, Dr. Broun has practiced general medicine, and in 2002 he went out on his own establishing a unique practice of full-time house calls. He enjoyed the freedom of practicing medicine without bureaucratic encumbrances and has used his experience to introduce common sense solutions to our nation's health care financing crisis. His first exposure to politics came at the age of 16 when his father, Paul Broun, Sr., won a seat in the Georgia State Senate where he represented the Athens area for 38 years. Paul, Jr. eventually became involved politically and was elected in July, 2007, to serve the Tenth District of Georgia. Dr. Broun has also served as a U.S. Marine and was later commissioned as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy. Since leaving Congress, Dr. Broun resumed practicing medicine. He and his wife started a new business named Pinescapes, as well.


OCT 17 Paul McGraw,
Founder and President of Hope Industrial Systems.
  Paul grew up in Ohio, attended Ohio University, and began his career as a Sales Rep for IBM. After operating a small Ohio company for several years, he relocated to Atlanta in 1982 to accept a position with Intecolor Corporation which was later acquired by Rockwell Automation. While at Intecolor, Paul served in various sales and marketing positions, the last being Director of Marketing for their Industrial Computer Business. He left Rockwell in 2000 to start his present company which designs and manufactures computer monitors and touch screens for the factory floor market.

OCT 24 David M. Messer,
Partner and Attorney at Law with Briskin, Cross & Sanford, LLC.
  As a trial lawyer in Oklahoma for six years, David achieved both legal and socially significant appeals and courtroom victories. His current trial practice focuses on a full spectrum of business law with an emphasis on all phases of business litigation and dispute resolution including trials, appeals, mediation and arbitration. In addition to his practice of law, David serves as a Adjunct Professor at Reinhardt College where he has been teaching business law and ethics since 2008. He is currently licensed by the State of Georgia and the State of Oklahoma and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern District of Georgia and the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver.

OCT 31 Oluyemi (Yemi) Yikealo,
MBA, Broker, EA, and Owner, Freedom Biz
  Freedom Biz is a company that provides CFO services for real estate brokerages. Yemi is a licensed real estate Broker and an Enrolled Agent. He is also the Executive Director of Christian Fellowship of Agents, Inc. He attends First Baptist Church Atlanta, where he leads a ministry called Decatur Tract-ing. He is married and has one daughter.
