SEPT 11 Jay Rowland,

President, J.F.R. Enterprises

 

Jay applies a marketing perspective to both product development and IP protection. He has almost 30 years of experience as a financial analyst, inventor, and marketing executive to help clients and their attorneys gain more valuable patents. With 15 personal patents issued, Jay has experienced many of the ins and outs of crafting patents and agreements and has profitably licensed multiple technologies. He knows how to support a product with market research, a strategic marketing plan and sales materials, with a particular focus on B2B manufacturers. Jay's academic background includes a BS in Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Emory University.

Senior Financial Advisor, First Vice President, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Smith

 

Bill has been with Merrill Lynch for over 18 years, and he works mainly with business leaders and entrepreneurs on investing for retirement and mergers and acquisitions with a commitment to give sound advice with integrity to help clients achieve major life goals. Bill received an MBA in 1982 from Cornell University Business School and went on to work in public accounting for two years and then for a Boston based technology firm before beginning in the wealth management business. He recently received the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM which is focused on planning and investments for retirement and estate planning.


SEPT 25 Jay Lin,

President and Owner, Pacific Ventures, Inc.

 

, which provides land development, new construction, and tenant build-out, for commercial facilities. Prior to that, Jay was VP and Owner of Forest Builders Group, Inc., which was a residential home builder in the metro Atlanta area. He has been an entrepreneur since 1989 having been involved in several business ventures including sports goods importing, photo finishing, automotive after market parts importing, export auto parts, buying and selling farm land, used car dealership, outdoor furniture retail, granite fabrication, metal recycling, and concrete and retaining wall contractor. He also ran for Johns Creek City Council in early 2015 and was elected after a run-off election in December of 2015.

OCT 09 Mark Pfaller,

Senior Business Development Manager, Panduit

 

Mark is a creative marketing professional with outstanding leadership ability and a strong technical background. His ares of expertise include project management, developing new businesses and programs, creating, implementing, include EC&M Product of the Year. Prior to his current position, Mark has worked for companies like Change Healthcare, Siemens, Thomas & Betts and NASA. Mark graduated from Christian Brothers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and has an MBA in Business Administration from Union University and a Master of Divinity from Metro Atlanta Seminary.

President, Small Business Samaritans

  The SBS vision is to impact communities through entrepreneurship in the creation of wealth and jobs using Godly principles, and its mission is to work with businesses including personal and business assessments, development of goals/objectives and problem solving. Their motto is "We Come Along Side" and "We Walk Along Side" through various SBS programs. Phillip is also founder of Newness of Life Ministries, an organization dedicated to the discipleship of Christians. Phillip formerly was VP at Unisys Corporation, Regional Director at Digital and various management positions at IBM, and attended Fisk University and Haverford College majoring in Physics.

  , a medical education consulting firm specializing in developing programs to assist in the training of resident physician leaders. Leadership Solutions has developed an education model focused on professionalism competencies that promotes quality self, physician-patient, and team interactions. Prior to his position at Leadership Solutions, Dr. Doublestein was Chairman and Senior Fellow in Strategic Healthcare Innovation at the Institute for Leadership in Medicine, Clinical Associate Professor and Assistant Dean at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and President of Osteopathic Institute of the South for 29 years. Dr. Doublestein holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Albion College, a Master of Arts in Ed. Administration from Truman State University, and Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University.

  Executive Manager of Commercial Funding, Platinum Business Group, Ltd.
  Gary has over 30 years of business, mortgage funding, legal and real estate experience and also speaks to business and church organizations on a variety of topics from business and planning to finance and capital needs. Gary has appeared on numerous local, state, regional and national television and radio programs, published a number of articles on mortgage finance and his testimony of his climb back from catastrophic illness and personal failures in business and family. He is Chairman of the CBMC Atlanta Metro Area Leadership Team and co-founder of the Austell Fellowship Luncheon (AFL). Gary graduated from Oral Roberts University and received his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law.
