| Larry Shrader and Heinz Wegener are Christian businessmen, Larry in real estate and Heinz in the satellite communications electronics industry. Larry Shrader, President of Five Star Properties, Inc., a company which owns and operates mobile home parks and other income producing residential property in the Atlanta area. Larry is also an active realtor with RE/MAX Northeast and was formerly in management for J. C. Penney for ten years. He came into a new knowledge of how God can use businessmen in the work place when he was invited to a meeting by his wife, Deborah, shortly after they met. Larry and Deborah have four children and make their home in Lilburn, Georgia. Heinz Wegener, President of Cross Technologies, Inc. and former Chairman and Executive Vice President of Wegener Corporation, a publicly traded company. Both companies manufacture satellite communications equipment. Heinz and his family emigrated from Germany in 1951. Heinz has also held engineering positions at Scientific-Atlanta, Georgia Tech, General Electric, and Magnavox, He has been married to his wife Nan for over 32 years and they have two children, Jessica and Heinz. In 1978, he founded Wegener Communications which began in his laundry room and has grown to become an international supplier of satellite communications equipment. But even founding a successful company did not bring fulfillment until he invited Jesus Christ into his life as his Lord and Savior. Both men's lives have been dramatically touched by Jesus Christ through the estimony of other businessmen. As a result of this, Larry and Heinz have co-hosted a weekly luncheon since 1985 where several hundred businessmen from the Atlanta area have shared their testimony. Although many are senior executives and business owners, they are regular businessmen and can be in any type of business. NFL Mission Statement The Norcross Fellowship Luncheon (NFL) provides a platform for Christian business professionals to share their story of how God has touched their lives both personally and professionally. NFL Goals 1. Provide a platform for Christian business professionals to share their story of how God has touched their lives. 2. Create an environment at these luncheons where anyone will feel comfortable and will receive encouragement and help in their search to find purpose in life. 3. Highlight other activities and organizations that can provide Christian training and discipleship. |
