| Speakers for January-February 2004 JAN. 5 - OPEN MIC (Testimonies by luncheon attendees) JAN. 12 - Chuck Lia, Senior Mortgage Planner, CTX Mortgage Company. Chuck has been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years and has financed over $350 million of residential real estate for over 1470 clients. He owned his own mortgage brokerage for nine years and joined CTX in southern California in early 2002. He transferred to CTX's Atlanta office in 2003. In addition to his mortgage endeavors, Chuck was a tennis pro in Phoenix for eight years after college and was a high school varsity tennis and basketball coach from 1993 to 2001. JAN. 19 - Chuck Douglas, National Sales Trainer with Brian Tracy. Chuck is a leading authority on executive performance enhancement and corporate business strategy, training the trainer, personal achievement, sales and communication mastery, leadership and team building, and time mastery. His career began in the private sector as a Field Manager for Thorn EMI where he was constantly the top producer and was soon promoted to Senior Corporate Trainer. He has worked with such leading companies as Century 21, ReMax, Merrill Lynch, Hyatt Regency, Met Life, Excel, Cisco Systems, and Marriott. He is also the author of an upcoming book, "Wake Up, You're a Sales Champion." JAN. 26 - Norb Leahy, President of NTL Human Resources Management Consulting, a sole proprietor HR and general consulting practice. Before starting his own consulting service, Norb worked for 14 years as the Principal Corporate Personnel/Human Resources Executive at organizations such as Electromagnetic Sciences, Inc. and its subsidiaries, EMS and LXE, Hayes Microcomputer Products, and Rickel Manufacturing Corporation in Salina, Kansas. Norb received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Louis University. FEB. 2 - OPEN MIC (Testimonies by luncheon attendees) FEB. 9 - Jeff Vrieland, MD, Mountain Park Family Practice. Jeff graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, where he also spent his residency in family practice. Prior to his practice at Mountain Park, Jeff was a "fast track" physician in the emergency department of the Medical College of Georgia, a missionary physician in Zambia, Africa, with Mt. Paran Church of God, and ER physician at Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, Georgia. Jeff is currently a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. FEB. 16 - Jim Villwock, President and Chief Executive Officer of KJV Group. KJV Group, Inc., is a team of functional executives, six sigma process experts, and supply management experts who have come together to help companies increase profitability. They focus on the often ignored areas of indirect expenses which comprise a major portion of the total cost. They call their model "Indirect Expense Management" and have worked with large companies such as AT&T, GE, Siemens, Unisys, GTE, Rockwell and Shell Oil. Jim is a senior executive with 22 years of experience in general management, supply chain, and finance/treasury roles. He has an MBA from North Texas State University, a Masters degree from the Dallas Theological seminary, and a BA in Business Management from Golden Gate University.
