| September 18, 2002 - Allen Power, General Manager for the Salem Communications radio stations in Atlanta which include WNIV 970 & 1400, WGKA 1190, and WFSH 104.7. Allen started in radio as a 14 year-old summer intern at WESC AM/FM in Greenville, South Carolina, where he grew up. His dream was to be a morning radio personality, but after 24 years of experience as a Production Manager, Vice President of Programming, and General Manager, he was never the morning guy! Allen's station, 104.7 The Fish, was recently honored to be named the Major Market Station of the Year at the nationally televised Dove Awards in April 2002. |
