| MARCH 5 - Testimonies by luncheon attendees. MARCH 12 - Brooke Blake, Security, Training & Crime Prevention Officer, SunTrust Bank, Atlanta, Georgia. Brooke coordinates security training for more than 300 branches including 75 supermarket locations throughout Georgia. He is a former Special Agent with the FBI and has been involved with financial institution security since 1969. Networking with law enforcement and the corporate security community is an expertise he has developed resulting in the formation of the Atlanta Metropol Fraud Group and MetroTech. Brooke was recently given special recognition and an award for his dedication to the community by the Metropolitan Atlanta Crime Commission. MARCH 19 - Janet Mullinax, Advertising Sales Manager for the State of Georgia for Unique Homes Magazine and Enclave Atlanta Magazine, Network Communications. Janet has been with Network Communications for the past three years and launched the "Luxury Book" which became the current Enclave Magazine. Network Communications is the world's largest publisher of real estate related advertising publications both on line and off line. Prior to her present position, Janet worked for seven years in the corporate sales division of Computer City, where within one year, she became one of the top sales reps in the United States. She studied Marketing and Business at Kennesaw University and also has a Broadcasting diploma. MARCH 26 - Mike Brugh, Operations Vice President / Unit Manager for FM Global's Forest Products Operations. Mike has been employed with FM Global, a worldwide commercial property insurance and loss prevention engineering company, for the last 25 years. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering and holds professional designations as a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). APRIL 9 - Lynwood Maddox, Attorney at Law with Maddox & Maddox, a law firm he founded and which includes his son, Lynwood, Jr. Lynwood attended Middle Georgia College, Emory University, and John Marshall Law School and was admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia in 1954. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Lee College, was one of the hosts of the 700 Club for CBN, and served as international Director and President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International for more than 25 years. He also has served as an international Director and President of the Atlanta Chapter of the International Fellowship of Christian Businessmen. APRIL 16 - Janet McGraw, Sales Representative, Hope Industrial Systems, a local company that manufactures industrial computer monitors for factory floor applications. Born and raised in Ohio, Janet graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Ohio University. Although most of her child rearing years were spent at home with her children, she also took time to hold positions in sales and marketing for Cable and Wireless and AT&T where she was on the Southern Region Staff. APRIL 23 - Bill Woodrum Mortgage Officer and Buyers' Agent, America'sMortgage and Realty. Bill has many years of experience in the financialand tax field. He has worked for BDO Seidman as a tax manager, writing tax articles and research for the Journal of Taxation and for the Tax Advisor on the Subject of real estate taxation. He has worked as CFO and tax advisor with two very successful real estate clients in addition to 28 NFL clients, and was the assistant controller for three plants of Cooper Tire/Standard products. Bill is also currently beginning a multiple franchise operation in the eastern Metro Atlanta area and trainer for Liberty Tax service. APRIL 30 - Timothy Dineen, Principal of Trinity Capital. Tim advises corporate clients on strategic growth and writes business plans and structures and procures growth capital. He is the author of the software program Strategic Plan Pro which is to be launched nationally in the second half of 2003. His book, Game Plan, will be included in the software package. Tim has had his business plans published on CD-ROM and in several books, and is also a contributing editor of Strategic Planning with Competitive Edge magazine. |
