| MAY 7 - Testimonies by luncheon attendees. MAY 14 - Mark Whitley, Coach, Parkview High School. Mark has been an outstanding addition to Parkview High School's coaching staff since 1999. He is the school's strength and conditioning coach and was recently selected as National High School Strength Coach of the Year by Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society. Coach Whitley also works with the defensive linemen and serves as the boys' and girls' track and field coach. He previously coached with Billy Henderson at Clarke Central and with Ray Lamb at Monroe High School. MAY 21 - Marc Lisenby, President of Master Building Services. MBS provides housekeeping and janitorial services for commercial, hospitality, medical and educational facilities throughout Georgia, focusing primarily on the Atlanta metropolitan area. The company was founded by Marc's father, Bob, in 1964, and Marc has been employed there since 1974. He has served in most positions within the company moving from supervision to operations to management and eventually into the administration of the daily operations of the company. Marc is an active member of the Northlake Rotary Club where he will serve as President for 2004-2005. MAY 28 - Bill Grace, President and Chief Technical Officer, Eversys Corporation. In 1989 Bill co-founded Evergreen Systems, Inc., which began as a service organization installing networks and training personnel in their use. Within a short time, Bill designed a remote control dial up server product and Evergreen Systems made the transition from service organization to a manufacturing business, with this product winning several magazine reviews. In 1996, the name of the corporation was changed to the present Eversys Corporation. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.I.T. and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. JUNE 4 - Testimonies by luncheon attendees. JUNE 11 - Bob Matthews, IT Consultant, Sun Professional Services. As an IT Consultant for Sun Professional Services, Bob functions as an individual contributor in developing processes, facilitating workshops, and mentoring client principals; as a team member of assessment and pre-sales teams, and a team leader in the development of organizational architectures, policies, and processes to be integrated into developing technology infrastructures. Prior to Sun Professional Services, Bob was the Principal at Robert E. Matthews & Associates, an independent consulting practice. He also spent 16 years with the Federal Reserve System. JUNE 18 - Bob Misdom, CFO/COO and Co-Founder of Staffing Technologies, LLC. Staffing Technologies provides creative and customized staffing solutions to meet the challenges of the ever changing information systems environment. The firm was started in 1994 by Bob and his partner and has grown successfully making the 1999 Inc. 500 list ranking at #101. They currently employ 85 people with their firm. Prior to IT consulting and recruiting, Bob was in commercial real estate for eight years. He graduated from Boston College in 1983 and moved to Atlanta in 1984. JUNE 25 - Dr. Gerald Rausch, Jerry and his wife, Candace, have had a full-time dental practice in Stone Mountain since 1982. Jerry was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Georgia in 1973. He attended Chamblee High School, the University of Georgia, and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1982. |
