Miracle of Deliverance
Although there was new joy and peace in my life, I was still hanging on to some of my old habits, especially drinking. In March 1984 my friend, Clarence, invited me to a Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship breakfast in downtown Atlanta. While listening to a Catholic, John Klem, talk about his rebirth as a result of his Cursillo weekend, my heart was filled with how my life had changed since I accepted Jesus into my life. After I went up front to rededicate my life to Jesus, two men prayed over me, and I was instantly delivered from alcohol and had a wonderful experience of encountering God which is called the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. |
